Products (every pieces of wardrobe) with corresponding article numbers, prices, pictures and technical descriptions are displayed on the website. The products offered for purchase are a not binding offer on terms that apply exclusively to the website.
The approximate delivery time is about 5 weeks for wardrobes. The approximate delivery time is about 2-3 weeks for insect screens and about 8-9 weeks in case of interior doors. The product purchased may differ from what is displayed on the website, as CPIAH reserves the right to change or modify the product with regard to product improvements if necessary.
3. PRICE
All prices shown on the website are in euros. Our offers include VAT for private individuals. The prices do not include statutory VAT for B2B transaction by legal entities. CPIAH reserves the right to change sales prices at any time at its own discretion. Orders that have already been placed are not affected by price changes. See the Delivery page for more information.
4. ORDER
The customer confirms that he has read and agreed to all information including these general terms and conditions of sale before placing the order. The order represents a purchase offer on the part of the customer towards CPIAH. A contract is concluded by carrying out all steps of the check-out process and agreeing to the purchase, which is done by accepting these general sales conditions and clicking the “BUY” button, what takes place exclusively “online” via the Internet and through acceptance and processing by CPIAH. We reproduce ourselves the colours of lacquered, from internationally recognize standards (RAL, NCS, Farrow & Ball).
The customer can carry out the purchase either as a “registered user” if he has registered on the website or as a “guest” if he has not previously filled in the corresponding form. Registration on IDAW.EU is free of charge and can be carried out at any time. After the customer has selected a product, checked the price, the technical characteristics and the expected delivery time, which are shown in the description, he (the customer) must click the button “CART”. This will add the selected product to the shopping cart, where content and quantity can be checked at any time and where you can either continue shopping or start check-out. The check-out can be started on the shopping cart page by clicking on the “CHECK OUT” button. All information required in the check-out process must be provided accurately and correctly. The customer can check and change all the information shown in the summary at any time and before the final approval. CPIAH is not responsible for faulty deliveries that result from incorrect information in the delivery address. Any additional costs resulting from this must therefore be borne by the customer. By clicking on the “BUY” button, the customer agrees to the purchase. In order for the final order to be sent to CPIAH, full payment must be made by the customer. CPIAH expressly points out the cancellation policy under point 12.
5. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS
The customer expresses his intention to buy on the corresponding page of the website, where, as described under point 4, he sends the order and makes the payment. The payment obligation exists from the moment of the order confirmation by clicking the button “COMPLETE ORDER”. In the event of failed payment, CPIAH reserves the right to cancel the order. The customer agrees to carry out the full price of the goods ordered on the website (total price of the goods plus any shipping costs) using one of the accepted payment methods: PayPal, credit card or by bank transfer. Credit card payments must be checked for validity. CPIAH reserves the right to request a copy of the ID from the customer within 24 hours of purchase, which can be used to prove ownership of the credit card used. If the customer cannot provide this proof in time, CPIAH reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the amount already paid. CPIAH will only save personal data in compliance with data protection according to the French Law.
Payment details are transmitted using a server-to-server secure socket layer (SSL), one of the best security systems on the Internet. PayPal is a secure payment method that enables fast payment processing without having to provide bank details to the seller. If the customer already has a PayPal account, he can use PayPal as a payment method safely and quickly. However, he can also choose the payment method PayPal if he does not yet have a PayPal account. In this case, the customer will be redirected to a PayPal page at the time of payment, where he can enter the bank details and where he can then decide whether a PayPal account should be created or not. In the case of bank transfer, the customer has 48 hours from the order transfer to transfer the total amount to the bank account specified in the order confirmation. If the bank transfer is not completed within these 48 hours or the payment is not credited to CPIAH's bank account within 5 working days, CPIAH reserves the right to cancel the order. Orders paid by bank transfer will be processed and / or shipped once payment is made and CPIAH has received the full amount within the standard terms.
6. DISCOUNT
The order form shows: the total price, the discount (if any), and the reduced price for the customer.
As an advertising measure, CPIAH can grant campaign discounts which customers are provided in the form of discount codes. Users who have received a discount code can activate it by entering it in the field provided in the order form. This is also possible if the user does not yet have a CPIAH account. The price is then recalculated and displayed accordingly. Only a promotional discount is applicable. Promotional discounts cannot be combined with other promotions.
7. INVOICE
If the customer wants an invoice that can be used for tax purposes, he can request it by email. For this, an email must be sent to CPIAH after receipt of the order confirmation.
If it is a commercial customer or on behalf of a company, all relevant information must be specified directly in the order form (company name, address, VAT number). CPIAH will issue the invoice and send it to the email address specified in the order form within 15 working days of the order confirmation.
8. ORDER CONFIRMATION
The order has been placed correctly if no error messages appear during the ordering process. The customer consents to the purchase by clicking on the “BUY” button. The order will be processed as soon as CPIAH receives payment of the total amount (product price plus shipping costs). CPIAH will confirm the order by email (hereinafter referred to as “order confirmation”) to the email address provided by the customer. The order confirmation summarizes the selected products, corresponding prices, delivery address and order number. The customer must provide the personal data correctly, check it in the order confirmation for security and immediately report any corrections or changes to CPIAH.
Higher costs that arise due to incorrect information provided by the customer or due to a delayed notification to CPIAH are to be borne by the customer. The order number, which CPIAH will provide on the order confirmation, must be stated with every communication with CPIAH, in connection with the order. It is recommended to print out the order confirmation as proof of order or to save it on a data carrier.
9. SHIPPING
The countries to which CPIAH delivers and the corresponding shipping costs are specified on the website. Unless otherwise stated, free delivery on the street with large track is included.
FREE DELIVERY “ON THE STREET” means that the order is unloaded at the property boundary. The driver of the truck is not obliged to carry the goods to the place of use, into the apartment or into the house. At least two people in good physical conditions must be present at the receipt of the goods. Delivery to certain rooms or floors is generally not included.
If you have purchased an insect screen:
the goods always leave from our production facility in Italy, the delivery is then entrusted to a carrier who will supply the customer with the information on the delivery times, as well as a tracking number of the shipment. We cannot rule out that the arrival of the delivery is influenced by unforeseen events (in traffic, weather conditions, etc.).
All additional costs that may arise due to delivery complications are borne by the customer. The customer ensures that at the time of delivery someone is present at the delivery address who can accept the delivery. If the transport company can not carry out the delivery because no one is present at the delivery address, the goods are brought to a warehouse or point of the transport company. In this case, the carrier will inform the client on the following procedure. If the delivery is not recovered within a reasonable time (10 days), the courier may charge the customer additional costs.
DELIVERY VIA COURIER:
In the case of delivery by courier, we rely on various partners depending on the country and type of goods (such as GLS, UPS, TNT, etc.). As soon as the partner communicates the tracking number to us, we will take care of communicating it to the customer so that he can monitor the shipment and personally receive all updates in real time. We remind you that the courier generally attempts delivery once or twice (the number of attempts varies depending on the courier). If the recipient is not at home or the courier is unable to deliver the goods for any other reason, they will be taken to the access point closest to the shipping address provided during the order. The customer himself will then have to go and collect it within the time limits established and communicated by the courier.
We therefore ask you to carefully monitor the status of the shipment, to avoid unpleasant inconveniences. In fact, if the goods are not recovered at the access point within the required time, the order will be sent back to the manufacturing company and the costs for the return and for a new redelivery will be borne by the customer.
If you have purchased a wardrobe or an interior door:
Please note: We assume that the delivery can be carried out without any problems, but we ask that you take note of the important information on delivery and contact us by email or phone if you have any questions or doubts.
When ordering, we always ask for one or, if available, couple of correct telephone numbers, if possible also mobile numbers. These are required in any case so that the freight forwarder can agree with the customer before delivery or we can contact the customer with questions before or during the delivery. It must be ensured that the street of the delivery address can be driven on with a truck of at least 12 meters length and that the truck can be stopped and unloaded. This means that there must be enough space available. If necessary it is advisable to keep the parking spaces free for the intended delivery and delivery shortly before the truck arrives.
General formula for this: 2.5 meter truck width plus length of the largest package (= cabinet height) plus 1 meter manoeuvring width – i.e. approx. 5 – 7 meters. It must be possible to rule out the fact that everything is parked in narrow residential areas so that the truck can drive in. If necessary it is advisable to keep the parking spaces free for the intended delivery and delivery shortly before the truck arrives. It must be assured that the access to the delivery address is not impossible to drive through narrow curves and bends for a large truck and that the access is not blocked by trucks of this size or that the goods are received at one place, which is accessible for a truck. The goods will be delivered to a single address. The customer accepts that the driver of the truck is responsible for the delivery or access. Therefore, the final decision about the delivery option on site is the responsibility of the driver. Transport does not include delivery to a specific floor, construction and waste disposal. In any case, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the purchased products are transported to the desired space in terms of their dimensions and can be assembled there. This also includes checking whether the ordered products can be brought through the front door, hallways and stairwells. We would be happy to inform you about the dimensions of the largest package of the upcoming delivery on request.
Delivery date: The delivery week of the delivery is announced when the order is placed or when it is configured.
Please note: Our furniture transporter always starts at our production facility in Italy and then goes to different delivery addresses. So that the delivery can be better organized by our external delivery company, the week before delivery, the customer will receive a shipment confirmation per email in which the transport company contacts, the number of packages and the identification mark are provided. Within the following two weeks, the transport company contacts the customer to promptly communicate the delivery date. In addition, the customer is contacted at least 12 hours before delivery by the transport company which will more accurately communicate the time window for the delivery. We cannot rule out that the arrival of the delivery is influenced by unforeseen events (in traffic, weather conditions, etc.), consequently no dispute will be accepted in the event that delivery is delayed by 24 hours.
If the customer would like, he can also contact us to inquire about the current status before the delivery arrives. All additional costs that may arise due to delivery complications are borne by the customer. The customer ensures that at the time of delivery someone is present at the delivery address who can accept the delivery. If the transport company can not carry out the delivery because no one is present at the delivery address, the goods are brought to a warehouse of the transport company. The carrier will try to arrange a new delivery date with the customer and may charge the customer additional costs.
At the time of delivery, the customer must ensure that the number of packages delivered corresponds to the number specified on the delivery note and that the packages show no external damage or deformation. The delivery note, which is signed by the customer, is proof of the delivery. Any recognizable damage to the packages or the products as well as a mismatched number of packages must be noted immediately on the delivery note. If in doubt, please make the note at the note “Acceptance with reserve” on the confirmation of receipt from the freight forwarder. If a possible damage is not noted on the delivery note, the customer has no right to object afterwards to the external features or the content of the packages. With his signature on the delivery note, the customer confirms that the delivered goods are in perfect condition.
CPIAH assumes no liability for faulty delivery, delays, defective goods or damage caused by any circumstances or events that are beyond CPIAH's sphere of influence. In the event that the delivery does not arrive completely or with damaged parts at the customer, CPIAH will deliver the missing or damaged goods within a reasonable period (1-8 weeks).
During this period, the customer must make the delivery option feasible. The customer has no right to monetary claims. Furthermore, the customer is encouraged to immediately notify CPIAH in the event of an incomplete or faulty delivery, so that a rapid subsequent or replacement delivery can take place as quickly as possible. The customer cannot request a reimbursement for incomplete or incorrectly delivered goods or any costs resulting therefrom. In addition, CPIAH is not responsible for errors or defects that arise if the customer begins or continues to set up without waiting for the replacement or subsequent delivery.
In case of delivery into the apartment, the place where the product is to be brought must be at least accessible by a wide staircase. Possible additional costs for a freight elevator, crane or similar are of course not included. In order to reduce possible inconveniences or addictional costs, the need of a reight elevator, crane or similar has to be reported immediately after having completed the order.
CPIAH reserves the right to cancel the order if at the delivery address there are limitations for access by truck.
10. ASSEMBLY SERVICE
CPIAH does not provide the assembly service but rather provides the customer with written and video assembly instructions in order to provide the necessary information for a correct assembly of the product. The customer therefore confirms that he/she assumes total responsibility for the direct management of the assembly (independently or by hiring a professional). The people appointed by the customer to carry out the assembly have total responsibility for all its effects.
Attention: the installation of our insect screens is carried out via an expansion mechanism which exerts pressure on the walls of the window or door opening. For this reason, the assembly manageability must be evaluated based on the solidity of the material used to create the opening. For example, in case of exterior insulation finishing systems (EIFS), installation may not be possible with this mechanism and will have to be evaluated based on the solidity of the wall opening itself.
Attention: for what concerns the installation of interior doors, CPIAH does not recommend that the installation is managed independently by a private customer and strongly recommends the intervention of a professional to manage the installation of the internal door in a workmanlike manner. Furthermore, CPIAH cannot be held responsible for any damage caused after delivery or during assembly. Once the goods have been unloaded and received, their care is responsibility of the customer.
It will be necessary to pay maximum attention to the various assembly phases, carrying out the necessary operations only in completely safe conditions to avoid damage to people or things. The components of our wardrobes have large dimensions and a significant weight, and consequently assembly can be extremely complicated or even not possible for some people. In any case, assembly cannot be carried out by a single person.
Before proceeding with the installation, it will be the customer's duty to collect all useful information for assembly using the videos and assembly instructions provided by CPIAH. Before proceeding with assembly, the customer must also check that all the components necessary for assembly are present and that the items are correct in order to proceed with the various assembly phases without interruptions. If the customer identifies any missing items (e.g. hardware components), he/she can send an email to info@cpiah.fr in order to request the items in question which will be supplied as quickly as possible.
We also remind you that during the installation phase all the regulations in force for the respective countries in terms of safety must be respected. It will therefore be necessary to use all the necessary personal protective equipment in order to guarantee a safe assembly. The customer understands and accepts that it will be his total responsibility to find and comply with all updated information regarding the rules in force in his country in terms of safety in order to ensure safety throughout the whole assemblying process.
Any unauthorized modification made to the wardrobe structure and its components or any improper use of the product will automatically void the product warranty as our cabinets must be installed following the instructions provided and respecting their normal working and use. CPIAH cannot be held responsible for damages deriving from improper use or modifications made to the product.
All wardrobes with a depth of 46cm and below will need to be fixed to the wall for additional safety and stability.
11. WARRANTY
All products sold are guaranteed for 24 months (from the time of delivery) according to Italian law Decree 24/02.
In the event of a possible warranty claim, the customer should keep proof of purchase. A printout of the order confirmation is sufficient for this.
This guarantee only applies to defects that arise during normal use of the product and when used correctly. Normal signs of use or improper influences do not justify a warranty claim.
The 2-year guarantee applies to private customers. The legal guarantee of 1 year applies to business customers. CPIAH products are manufactured in Italy in high quality and taking environmental protection measures into account.
In the event of a defect, CPIAH will carry out a repair or an exchange without additional costs for the customer. If a reported defect is not covered by the warranty, CPIAH will be charged the costs of transportation and product testing to the customer.
After consultation with the factory, CPIAH will inform you of the replacement or repair period. The customer is not entitled to compensation for delays and / or the time required for the repair and return.
Imperfections on the product
In the case of painted articles with lacquering defects, a small amount of paint will be provided for touch-ups that must be done by the customer following the instructions in the video in the “Problem solving” section of our site (link).
The customer understands that the rationale behind this choice is aimed at minimizing the environmental impact of the production and distribution of CPIAH products.
Imperfections on the lacquer:
Our lacquering process takes place in modern depressurized cabins throughout spray-painting. Although the technology used and the quality of the material allows a high level of control over the final result, absolute control is not possible. We remind you that we produce doors in practically any colour. Therefore, a lacquering using in-line machines in absence of dust is not economically feasible. For this reason, pieces that have small dots of dust invisible from more than half a meter away under natural light (no flash or direct light spots) or other small imperfections impossible to avoid with our production process will not be replaced.
Therefore, by accepting these conditions of sale, the customer accepts that the choice to replace pieces for this type of defect is strictly defined by CPIAH.
It is possible that, the paint can jump in very little points due to the vibrations of the transport. Hence, we provide a small amount of paint for touch-ups that must be done by the customer following the instructions in the video in the “Problem solving” section of our site (link).
Therefore, the customer understands that the rationale behind this choice is aimed at minimizing the environmental impact of the production and distribution of CPIAH products.
For the wardrobes:
The drawer boxes (with 2 or 3 drawers), the chest of drawers, the bedside table and the 7-drawers chest of drawers are delivered to the customer already assembled. The customer must not disassemble the drawers in any way, but will simply have to follow the assembly instructions; otherwise, the warranty on the article will be lost. If the customer needs to disassemble the drawers, it will be necessary to contact CPIAH by email at info@cpiah.fr, explaining the reason of such need and waiting for the instructions of our team on how to proceed.
ATTENTION: Any unauthorized modification made to the product and its components or any improper use of the product will automatically void the product warranty as our cabinets must be installed following the instructions provided and respecting their normal working and use. CPIAH cannot be held responsible for damages deriving from improper use or modifications made to the product.
12. CANCELLATION AND RETURN POLICY
(a) Cancellation right before departure of the goods
The customer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reasons within the following deadlines:
- within 14 working days from the moment of the order
- before the departure of the goods from the production site, in case the productive process requires less than 14 working days.
(b) Right of return after receipt of the goods
According to Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005, the customer has the right of return within 14 working days of receipt of the goods without giving any reason.
This does not apply to products which are personalized according to the customer's requests. A right of return does not exist for products manufactured individually according to customer specifications. This includes all custom-made parts for wardrobes made to measure, fitted wardrobes, walk-in wardrobes, chests of drawers and bedside tables that have been painted in the colour of your choice and / or whose height and, if necessary, depth have been made to measure.
Products that are not individually manufactured are, for example, shelves with regular dimensions or drawer with standard dimensions, clothes lifts etc. For these, in the event of cancellation:
In one of these cases in order to exercise your right of return, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement. The declaration must be made by post (at best by registered mail) to IDAW, via Roma 8 I Vigonza PD, Italy. To make processing easier, the notification should also be sent in advance by email to info@idaw.eu.
Consequences of return:
We remind you that the right to return can only be exercised for non-customized components, which are considered standard at the productive level.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any event no later than fourteen days from the date on which you inform us of your decision to return one or more articles. The deadline is met if you send off the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
In case of refund, the returned items will be refunded in their full value, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs that result from the fact that you choose a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery we offer have). The refund will be processed within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your decision. The customer will bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
CPIAH-IDAW takes 48 hours from receipt of the goods to check their status: the returned item must be in the original conditions verified at the time of shipment from the production center. The refund will then be made by the company using the same means of payment used by the customer in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this repayment.
If the item arrives damaged, we will not refund it. For this reason, we advise the customer to rely on shipping companies specialized in the delivery of furniture or to insure the goods.
The customer only havs to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling that is not necessary for checking the nature, properties and functionality of the goods.
If possible, please send the goods back to us in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use additional protective packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please provide suitable packaging for adequate protection against transport damage in order to avoid claims for damages due to damage due to defective packaging.
As soon as the customer's notice of cancellation or return has been sent, both parties to the contract are released from mutual obligations – with the exception of those stipulated by French law.
13. CONTACT
If you have any problems, questions, information or complaints, please contact our customer service on +39 3930121887 or by email at info@cpiah.fr.
14. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
A contract between CPIAH and the customer takes place in France and only taking into account the French law. The place of jurisdiction is France.
15. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
Should individual provisions of this contract be ineffective or unenforceable or become ineffective or unenforceable after the conclusion of the contract, the remaining validity of the contract remains unaffected. The ineffective or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by the effective and feasible regulation, the effects of which come closest to the economic objective that the contracting parties have pursued with the ineffective or unenforceable provision. The above provisions apply accordingly in the event that the contract proves to be incomplete.
16. COMPLAINTS/DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Since February 15, 2016, the EU Commission has provided a platform for out-of-court dispute resolution. This gives consumers the opportunity to resolve disputes in connection with their online order without going to court. The dispute resolution platform can be accessed under the external link http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. In this context, we are obliged to inform you of our email address, which is info@idaw.eu.
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration body.
