A specific example: if you want to properly store children’s clothes, all you need is to reserve about 70 cm for T-shirts, dresses, shirts, jackets and pants. However, if you want to properly hide men’s pants, plan them in the range from 90 cm to 120 cm, depending on the size of the person.
Tips for those who prefer to fold clothes:
The distance between the shelves is usually 35 cm. Of course, if you want to hide your shoes, much less is enough. Another option is to hide trinkets in boxes. As a rule, 40-45 cm between shelves is enough.
If you need space for suitcases, the shelf above is the most suitable. Leave about 45 cm for this.
DO I NEED DRAWERS?
You don’t necessarily need drawers in the closet, especially because there are usually drawers in other pieces of furniture such as Sideboards, chests of drawers or cupboards. In fact, drawers are also a little more practical in everyday use.
