Open your wardrobe and instantly find what you’re looking for? With the right accessories, it’s much easier. A tidy, well-organised made-to-measure wardrobe

Here are some tips to help you set up your closet:

01

Make the most of your available space: the more room you have, the more accessories you can add!

Our made-to-measure wardrobes can be configured up to a maximum height of 294 cm (with a single door), allowing you to make the most of the full height of your room while leaving just 1 cm of installation clearance. Be sure to measure the room height at several points, always using the smallest measurement recorded as your reference.

Whenever possible, configure your wardrobe with a standard depth of 61 cm

Most pull-out accessories (trouser racks, tie racks and sliding shelves) are only available for wardrobes with a depth of 61 cm. If a depth of 61 cm is not possible, we recommend maintaining a minimum depth of 52 cm to allow the installation of drawer units and make the best use of the hanging rails.

How many shelves should you add to your wardrobe?

The number of shelves that can be installed inside the wardrobe depends on how you intend to use it. Our shelves are approximately 35 mm thick and can be positioned at virtually any height. The side panels feature pre-drilled holes every 32 mm, starting approximately 40 cm from the base and ending approximately 40 cm below the top, allowing the shelves to be positioned at the desired height. Shelves can also be installed in positions where there are no pre-drilled holes by drilling the required holes for the shelf supports at the desired height.

7 SHELVES

Here is the indicative calculation to define the space between one shelf and another:

246 cm
− 11.5 cm top + base
− 24.5 cm 7 shelves x 3.5 cm
= 210 cm Available height

Available height:

compartments inside the wardrobe (with 7 shelves there will be 8 compartments)

210 : 8 = approx. 26.2 cm

With a total of 7 shelves, the height of each compartment will therefore be approximately 26 cm.

i

This calculation does not take into account the position of the hinges. Consequently, if the hypothetical mounting position of the shelf should be occupied by a hinge, the shelf will have to be positioned a little higher or lower. Before positioning the shelf supports, it is recommended to mark the position of the door hinges with a pencil.

Classic clothes rails or dresses lift?

If the wardrobe is very high, the dresses lift is certainly an intelligent solution for easily accessing clothes. However, even with the help of a telescopic hanger gripper, access to clothing is very simple. When choosing, we recommend also considering whether you have a tendency to completely fill the rail with clothing, as excessive weight could affect the correct functioning of the dresses lift (maximum capacity of 12 kg).

Wardrobe hanging rail

Classic clothes rails

  • Minimal height (approximately 7 cm)
  • Lino or Ral 8019 finish, more resistant than chrome
  • Higher weight capacity
Pull-down hanging rail

Dresses lift

  • Easier access to clothing
  • Only available in chromed finish
  • Maximum capacity 12 kg

Which drawer unit best suits your needs?

The two- and three-drawer units are designed to store underwear, socks, scarves and other small accessories neatly organised. All drawers are fitted with soft-closing runners, ensuring smooth and quiet operation. In wardrobes with a depth of 61 cm, each drawer provides an internal usable height of 9.5 cm and a usable depth of 42.5 cm. If you need more vertical storage space, we recommend the single large drawer unit, available for 89 cm wide modules.

Drawers inside the wardrobe or a chest of drawers in a corner of the room?

We are often asked whether it is better to integrate drawers inside the wardrobe or to choose a separate chest of drawers instead. The answer depends on the size of the room: if space is limited, integrating a drawer unit inside the wardrobe is usually the best solution. However, in a larger bedroom, a chest of drawers placed in a corner of the room is often more practical, as it provides direct access without having to open the wardrobe doors. In addition to standard chests of drawers, taller and narrower seven-drawer units are also available.
